1989 | First Email via the Cyber Mainframe |
1990 | Probably 100 PCs on campus |
1991 | 3 IBM servers are now operational running Novell - used as application servers and storage for faculty/staff, students. |
1991 | Broadband network installed - 1Mb |
1992 | Internet 1 installed at 56K |
1992 | Windows Operating system installed - first graphical operating system for SDSM&T |
1994 | Cat 3 Network installed - 10Mb |
1994 | Fiber Optics installed between buildings |
