Computer Usage Guidelines

All facilities, equipment and access are provided for use by SDSM&T students, staff and faculty only
(no sharing with friends or family members, please) for the primary purpose of accomplishing academic goals. Incidental personal and recreational use is okay, but always yield shared resources immediately for academic needs. No commercial use allowed. Guard your electronic identity carefully. Keep passwords private. You are responsible for any activity carried out under your accounts. Never attempt to access anyone else's accounts. Use e-mail and electronic communications courteously. No spamming, no flames, no chain letters. Of course, all relevant policies, rules and laws apply, but you knew that!
